Ram Quarter signs a new Japanese restaurant

Greenland UK has secured a new independent Japanese restaurant, Sushi Moka, for Ram Quarter, Greenland’s flagship development in Wandsworth.

Sushi Moka specializes in authentic Japanese cuisine with a fusion twist. Ram Quarter’s signature builds on the success of Sushi Moka’s existing restaurant in Marylebone, where it has built a reputation for excellent Japanese cuisine, achieved through its careful use of local suppliers and high quality ingredients .

Sushi Moka will take place in Bubbling Well Square alongside Sambrook’s brasserie, London Stock gourmet restaurant and Strike bowling. It will add to the focus on food and leisure at the heart of the development, with a Melbourne-inspired restaurant and cafe, Friends of Ours, also due to open there in late spring. Greenland agreed to a 15-year lease for Sushi Moka’s 795-square-foot unit. Due to open in the summer of 2022, this will be Ram Quarter’s first Japanese restaurant.

Christine Chen, Owner and Founder of Sushi Moka, said, “Ram Quarter’s focus on dynamic, independent brands makes it the perfect place to establish our first home south of the river. With a focus on quality and authenticity, we look forward to residents of Wandsworth and beyond coming to experience our fantastic food for themselves.
